The 400 km »Johann Sebastian Bach cycle tour« connects the places that are linked to J. S. Bach's life in the region which today comprises the German federal states Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt and Thuringia. It uses already existing cycle routes, mostly along rivers. Bach Festival partner Turkish Airlines offers connections to more than 300 destinations everywhere in the world. You can reach the Leipzig/Halle Airport seven times a week via Istanbul.


By long-distance bus

Leipzig is connected to a public long-distance bus network by a bus terminal at the east side of the Central Station.
